Your Colourblind Sight Centre optometrist will assess your colour vision using tests that grade the severity and type of colour vision anomaly. A pair of lenses from the ColorView range will then be selected, and tests carried out whilst you wear them.

You will have the opportunity to walk around wearing these lenses so that you can observe the changes in colour in the world around you.

We recommend bringing the following to your colour vision consultation:
- Any hobby or vocational-related coloured objects that are relevant (e.g. stamp collection; electrical wires; golf tees; cricket ball; photos of clinical cases if you are a dentist or doctor).
- Your partner or a family member, if possible. This is a great chance for us to explain your colour vision differences to them, and we have a demonstration lens that mimics colour vision deficiency for them to trial. If you decide to purchase the ColorView lenses, it is ideal for your family to understand the benefits.
Allow at least an hour for your colour vision assessment. If you decide to purchase the ColorView lenses you can select a frame and order them immediately. The completed ColorView spectacles can be couriered to your home or work place, and usually take around seven days.
